  • Never share your home address, workplace, or daily routine with someone you just met
  • Keep conversations on LuckMate until you fully trust someone — don't rush to WhatsApp
  • Reverse image search any photo you're unsure about using Google Images
  • Never send money to anyone on a dating platform — ever. This is always a scam.
  • Don't share financial information, bank details, or login credentials
  • Block and report anyone who asks for money, sends unsolicited explicit content, or makes you feel uncomfortable

First Date Safety

  • Always meet in a public place — our verified Date Venues are perfect for this
  • Tell a trusted friend or family member where you're going, who you're meeting, and when to expect you back
  • Arrange your own transport to and from the date — don't rely on your date for a ride
  • Keep your phone charged and have emergency contacts ready
  • Don't leave your drink unattended
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave. Your safety is more important than being polite.

Red Flags to Watch For

  • Asks for money, recharge cards, or gifts — even small amounts
  • Refuses to video call or always has excuses for why they can't
  • Profile photos look too professional or like stock photos
  • Story keeps changing — inconsistencies in where they live, work, or their past
  • Pushes you to move off the platform very quickly
  • Declares love or deep feelings within the first few days
  • Claims to be abroad or travelling and wants to come visit you
